TripAdvisor Reviews

5 star ratingA great eco experience This is a professionally done cruise, the staff bringing great humor complete with a thorough understanding of the issues facing the Coorong. The food that was included was excellent. We enjoyed it ! We did the 4 hour tour but there are 2 and 6 hour versions. Enjoy.

5 star ratingA really great day out with nature We enjoyed the experience of travelling right to the mouth of the mighty Murray.

the commentary was excellent , and delivered very well.

There was an abundance of birdlife and seals.

We enjoyed the walks over the Coorong, and particularly enjoyed tasting the cockle.

Highly Recommended tour

5 star ratingGreat trip to see the Murray Mouth, Coorong Perfect autumn day saw us on the water leaving from the Goolwa wharf. Very tasty salad lunch served early in the 3.5 hour trip. Our captain wa full of local knowledge and particularly the early history of the river and Goolwa. Thru' the lock - check out all the seals!! - and down to the Murray Mouth. Fascinating spot!! Then on to Barker Knoll for a walk across the sand hills to the Southern Ocean. The scrub is in pristine condition - lush and green full of a wide variety of coastal plants, lots of evidence of Ngarrindjeri middens - how old must they be?? Down a bit further into the Coorong. Heaps of bird life on the low lying sand flats. Afternoon tea then back thru' the lock to Goolwa. A really enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.
