5 star ratingSpirit of the Coorong Fabulous day...

Magical light and colours.

Bird spotting was excellent with the added bonus of a sea eagle sighting- So rare!

Terrific commentary- learnt a lot from environmental science to aboriginal lore.

Thank you Bain and Rupert... I loved the day.

I will be back for the lower lakes trip in September.

Highly recommend

5 star ratingUp close and personal Coorong Spirit of the Coorong scenic tour was chosen for a landmark birthday celebration. A leisurely cruise with expert commentary on regional flora and fauna complemented by a casual lunch were key elements of the tour. The "Spirit" took us through the Goolwa lock, in the company of local seals. On the far side (downstream) the bird life was clearly enjoying the sanctuary of the Park's protective environment. Disembarking the Spirit on the sandy reserves led us (via a short walk) to the edge of the Southern Ocean, with descriptions of the regional history being given by our expert guide. A return to the Goolwa Wharf, after passing the Murray mouth and Goolwa lock once again saw our journey end. What an experience right on our back door

5 star ratingSee the Coorong We did the 6 hour cruise which includes lunch and afternoon tea. Great value for money for world class tourism. Our boat driver and tour spoke person was knowledge on all things Coorong and had a pleasing voice that did not grate. The tour involves walking the dunes and see the Coorong from the ground as well as the water. Don't miss this tour if you are visiting this area.
