Wow Murray Mouth What an adventure. Boat was well presented with Captain & crew ready to give us an awesome experience. An Informative presentation by the Captain with a more than acceptable lunch as we meandered through the Lock observing Seals, Migratory Birds and of course the local Pelicans & Ducks. To go through the Murray mouth of a river that has struggled over many years was an awesome experience. The walk through the sand hills with the commentary from Lachie was more than informative to be met by Southern Ocean breeze. Great day out.
excellant day on the coorong last week we had the pleasure of the adventure cruise.right from the goolwa wharf we felt welcome.the captain and crew had so much knowledge of the area and continually pointed out birds and landmarks and middens and food sources of the original aboriginal people.Living near the coorong it was very interesting to see it from the water.Lovely lunch and afternoon tea was an added bonus.Thankyou so much for a wonderfulday out will do it again.Jan
Fabulous Day We started at the Goolwa Wharf, boat had excellent viewing from inside or up on top in the open air. So much wildlife along the way was really impressed, the tour guides were so informative.Went through the lock, which was interesting, then on to the Murray Mouth, and up to Cattle Point, was definitely worth doing the 6 hour trip. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea all provided and was fabulous. We went on two walks which were great, tour guides had so much knowledge of the history which was very interesting. They had everything so well organised. Definitely recommend doing.
