Excellent Value Cruise Best way to see the famous Coorong. Very friendly tour guides, very knowledgeable and informative with National Park experience. Great value with snacks provided as well as a main lunch which I thought was brilliant..A highlight was the provision of beautifull cooked Musells from the area. going through the Barrage was a first , and fascinating with the amount of bird life & seals that swamp the area.. cruising into the Murray Mouth was just amazing.. definately recommend the 6 hour tour, as there is a shorter option.. you also have two off boat guided walks.. A definite must for visitors to the area, and overseas tourists will especially love the bidlife.. Thanks Dave & Dane..
An unforgottable experience We did not book in advance but with efforts of the friendly lady we were booked on the 4,5 hours tour.Although it was a quite windy we sat outside on the upper deck and we had the most wonderful experience. The lock was packed with seals and there were pleanty of sea birds; swans with ducklings, pelicans, herons and a lot of birds I do not know. The captain, who understood quite some Durch, was very knowledgeable about the area. Mat was a lovely host and very helful during the walk in the dunes. Above of this he could reveal the most wonderful smile when his picture was taken.Summarized an unforgottable experience, very recommendable! One advise, take some repellent with you because the mosquitoes are a little bit too "friendly" when you are walking in the dunes.
See the Coorong We did the 6 hour cruise which includes lunch and afternoon tea. Great value for money for world class tourism. Our boat driver and tour spoke person was knowledge on all things Coorong and had a pleasing voice that did not grate. The tour involves walking the dunes and see the Coorong from the ground as well as the water. Don't miss this tour if you are visiting this area.
