5 star ratingWonderful absorbing day It was very informative - the whole history of the region ancestral and european and the monumental task of separating fresh and saltwater for ecological and agricultural reasons.

We saw a range of different migratory birds or though the numbers are down.

The mittens were fascinating and we were explained how the avboriginal survived in this harsh environment

The crew were excellent and served a superb lunch

I would just say just slow down if not briefly for photo ops of bird colonies

5 star ratingPeaceful & informative. Three and a half hours exploring parts of the coorong, including the Murray mouth. Skippered by a very informative "captain", ably assisted by a friendly knowledgable crew and served a delicious lunch ( mine was gluten free) we had a wonderful time. Learnt a bit about the history and the plant life of the area. The guided walked enabled those that want to to stretch their legs, whilst having a paddle searching for pippies (cockles). Got off the boat feeling extremely relaxed. Highly recommend if you are in the Goolwa area.
