Great way to see the Coorong It had always been on my bucket list to visit the Coorong National Park and I was not disappointed! Our family had a marvellous time on the Discovery cruise and I'd love to return to do the full day cruise in the future. The boat was comfortable, we loved the picnic lunch boxes and the captain and crew were informative and friendly. We spotted lots of seals, countess bird life, and we were lucky enough to even come across two kangaroos on the sand dunes walk. Both our girls aged 14 and 10 had a fun time and it was educational too. We had a rather grey old day (not raining) but it was still a smooth ride on the boat. Good idea to put some insect repellent on before you leave because there are biting mosquitoes on the sand dune walk. And a hat and sunnies! We brought extra snacks and drinks for our kids because there is no food available for purchase on the cruise. Thank you for an unforgettable day!
Absolutely the Best! I went with a big group on the tour that went from 1pm to 4:30 pm and it was superb. They gave you lunch and cater for intolerances as well as afternoon tea.The views and landscape are beautiful with the ocean on one side and the Murray on the other. We saw lots of seals close up as well as emus, birds and a kangaroo. This is a must!
6 hour cruise on the Coorong We did the 6 hour trip and are so glad we did. The boat trip is relaxing and the walks are interesting and fun. Bain's knowledge of the history of white settlement and the lifestyle of the Ngarrindjeri people, the environmental science, the engineering of the barrages and the wildlife was inexhaustible. Lunch was very healthy, well organised and very tasty. Dan and Bain run a tight ship. They were relaxed and made sure everything ran smoothly. It was incredibly good value for money. Thanks guys and thanks for being so considerate of our son (who has a severe intellectual disability).
