5 star ratingWonderful cruise Although it was extremely windy, this was a great experience. Loved the unspoiled scenery. Saw seals basking on the Goolwa Barrage, numerous pelicans and black swans. Wonderful to see the crashing waves at the Murray Mouth, to walk along the desolate shores and see the numerous birds and to hear about the aboriginal sites. The crew looked after us extremely well. I highly recommend this cruise.

5 star ratingSun, sand, water and nature. A friend had recommended this cruise. Five years later, I finally got to verify their recommendation. Mixed into the relaxing cruise and nature experience was some significant learning about our dynamic Coorong. Our hosts, Bain and Dave were well organised, knowledgeable and presented their commentary in an easy listening and informative way. The commentary included aspects of the changing nature of the Coorong, the barrages, birdlife, fishing, industry, buildings and an insight into traditional Ngarrindjeri life. The day included two easy walks: one at Barker's Knoll across to the Southern Ocean and one at Cattle Point. I would definitely recommend being vigilant with the bug spray (provided) as the flies and mosquitoes were horrendous on the first walk. There was an abundance of local bird life but the migratory birds normally seen at this time of year were scarce. The six hour trip, including lunch and snacks was definitely excellent value. I certainly feel more informed about the Coorong thanks to this experience.

5 star ratingGreat day out on the Coorong The Spirit of the Coorong six hour cruise was amazing. The crew, Daniel and Dave were incredible, they were professional and extremely knowledgeable about flora, fauna and all the sea life we came across which was in abundance. We decided to take this cruise as we currently have overseas visitors and they absolutely loved the whole day. We did two walks on which we learned a lot about the aboriginal history of the area. A very nice lunch was served in board and afternoon tea was served during the return trip. This day out, in my opinion, is worth every cent. Well done to all involved.
