Spirit of the Coorong

Belluna Pty Ltd is the parent company of Spirit Australia Cruises which operates Spirit of the Coorong Cruises.
It is a family run business with a wealth of boating and cruising experience, a broad knowledge of the history and environments in which the cruises operate, and a totally professional approach to their programs and clients.
Owned by the Veenstra family, who has been involved in Murray River tourism for almost 50 years, Spirit Australia Cruises has pioneered a range of cruise programs along the river and into the Murray Mouth and Coorong area over many years.

So effective has this development been that Spirit Australia Cruises is often better known by some of these cruise programs – Spirit of the Coorong and The Murray River Run probably the best known.
Spirit of the Coorong Cruises has developed a well deserved reputation for friendly, efficient and safe operations whilst paying a great deal of attention to maintaining the pristine Coorong environment in which it cruises.

5 star ratingCoorong Discovery Tour Went on the six hour Coorong Cruise with Mr 15 and Ms 13. Fabulous Day. Bain & Dave were wonderful guides and hosts. The walks were informative and entertaining. Lunch was fabulous - and the pippis divine. Thank you so much. Very, very good way to finish 2017.

5 star ratingCruise the Coorong and see the Murray River Mouth. Had a great day out on the Coorong Discovery Cruise which included a delicious and ample lunch pack (cold meats and salad, cheese and biscuits pack, with bread roll).....and afternoon tea. There was interesting commentary and the opportunity to go for a guided walk through the sand dunes with a guide. Very professional crew and friendly too. A very enjoyable day out.

5 star ratingAdventure cruise a must!! Spent a great six hours on this Coorong cruise. Very friendly, helpful and most of all knowledgable crew. Nice lunch included alongwith afternoon tea. Beware of mosquitoes on first walk. Second walk really enjoyable. Birdlife in abundance and also a few fur seals at the barrage.Need to be reasonably fit for the walks!
