TripAdvisor Reviews

5 star ratingA great tourist cruise with Qld friends! We had some friends staying from Queensland and went on the Coorong Discovery Cruise on April 7th. The river and bird life we saw were fantastic. We have lived in Goolwa for 6 years and have been meaning to do this cruise ever since. It was made even more enjoyable with Matt's commentary, which was very knowledgeable and he had a very good voice which made everyone want to listen to what he was saying. Paul did an excellent job of supplying us with a lunch of cold meats, cheese and fruit, which was served up in a sealed container for each of us, followed with tea or coffee. Poor guy had to wash 20 mugs up on about three times during the trip!

They were both happy and obliging and obviously liked what they were doing. We had a 20 min guided walk to a beach on the southern ocean and it was breathtaking!

This is a must for all to see!

5 star ratingCoorong Discovery tour how awesome Have wanted to visit the Coorong for many years and now it is done - maybe needs another visit. The Spirit of Coorong cruises folk were fantastic. Easy to book, the cruise itself was extremely well organised, the crew were knowledgeable and informative and great boat drivers ! Most interesting and best value for money tour we have undertaken for a long time.

5 star rating3.5hr Coorong Discovery Cruise. An excellent afternoon cruise to the Goolwa Barrage, through the lock, across the Murray mouth and into the Coorong National Park where we had a guided walk to the Southern Ocean and a chance to observe the many examples of Bush tucker along the way. Very knowledgeable captain and crew who were happy to answer questions or elaborate on interesting facts mentioned along the way. The boat was very clean and comfortable, and the picnic style lunch was very fresh and satisfying, We purchased this cruise for a Christmas treat for some overseas family visitors and none of us were disappointed. Well done Spirit of the Coorong.
